Team Norm
Team Norm is a group of students that work together to help create programs that feature Norm the Navel. Throughout the year, Team Norm ensures that residents get to see Norm at programs put on by Residential Life programs and at on-campus events!

Norm was “born” at UCR in 2007.

He is the Housing Mascot Extraordinaire.

His special skills include dancing, community building, hugs, pictures, and smiles.

Within Housing, Norm attends programming, goes to formal events, and brings happiness to everyone’s day.

His Navel heritage extends to the original citrus tree that brought navel oranges to the region. He doesn’t like to brag, but his grandfather is the orange that is immortalized across from the Humanities & Social Sciences Building.
